Khordong and Jangter, traditions practiced in Dropan Ling, a center founded by Chhimed Rigdzin Rinpoche, belong to the Nyingmapa school of Tibetan Buddhism. They are derived from teachings that reached Tibet in the eighth century thanks to Padmasambhava. Some of these teachings were discovered in later times. These include, for example, Jangter - the teachings discovered by Rigdzin Godem in the 14th century, and the teachings of the Khordong lineage, discovered by Nudan Dorje in the 19th century. Both of these lines are practiced in Khordong monasteries in Tibet and India, and thanks to Chhimed Rigdzin Rinpoche, Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche, Chhimed Gyaltsen Rinpoche and other lamas, they are also available in Poland.
