Bats in Darnkow​

There are many bats living in our centre. To date, one species has been identified, the brown long-eared bat Plecootus auritus, which has chosen our stupa as its summer shelter. Starting this year, for the next 3 years, research will be conducted on the centre and in its vicinity to learn about the species composition of the bats we see.

 

The information gathered will help us adapt the buildings we use to the needs of these useful mammals.
